Meeting Room Agreement
Use of the meeting rooms during Library hours is encouraged. Any group that wishes to meet outside of the Library’s normal hours must designate a contact person who will be responsible for securing the building as instructed. Kindly advise the Library of any change in time or cancellation of the meeting room reservation.
Permission to use a Library Meeting Room is no way implies Library sponsorship or endorsement of any group or its program. Any advertising or publicity for User’s program must include the phrase “not a Kemmerer Library sponsored activity”.
Use of a meeting room may not disrupt the use of the Library by others. Children in attendance must be under the User’s supervision. The Library staff will not be responsible or available to supervise children while adults are attending meetings.
The User and invitees use the Library facilities and equipment at their own risk, including with respect to possible exposure or infection by contagious viruses (including but not limited to COVID-19) at the Library. User assumes full responsibility for complying with applicable COVID-19 guidelines for its invitees and events at the Library.
The Library assumes no liability for injury to a person or damage to property of the User or its members. The User agrees to indemnity and save harmless the Township of Harding, Kemmerer Library Harding Township, the Library Board, trustees, employees and agents from any loss, damage, liability, cost and/or expense that may arise during or caused in any way by use of Library facilities and equipment by the User or its invitees.
Damage to Library property or property on loan to the Library, beyond ordinary wear and tear, will be charged to the User.
The following is prohibited:
- nailing or taping to floors, walls or fixtures;
- marking or defacing the building or equipment in any manner
- smoking
- open flames
- alcoholic beverages
Groups are responsible for:
- setting up the room
- following the meeting, returning the tables and chairs to the original arrangement;
- providing all supplies needed for the scheduled event. The Library cannot care for or store material for groups using the meeting room.
- the removal of all foods and supplies following the meeting. Trash and recyclables must be bagged and taken away.
- cleaning the kitchen facilities after use
The Meeting Room kitchenette may be used to prepare refreshments immediately prior to the meeting.

Two adults, 21 years or older, must be in attendance when minors under 10 years old use a Meeting Room. At least one adult, 21 years or older, must be in attendance when minors over the age of 10 use a Meeting Room.
The Meeting Room Agreement must be signed by a Harding resident, 21 years of age or older.
