My MAIN Account
Your MAIN online account allows you to place a hold, cancel a hold, suspend a hold, renew a book, check for overdue items, and keep your book list or reading history. The menu below describes the various functions.
To access your MAIN account, click on the “My Account” button on the upper right of the toolbar on the website home page. Log-in with your Library card number and PIN (last 4 digits of your telephone number on file with the Library). Once established, you can change your user name and password as you like.

Contact Information and Preferences
Address changes and corrections can only be performed by the Library staff. You may change your e-mail or phone information to indicate how you prefer to be contacted. You can also check the box to to maintain a reading list. Click the ‘Submit Change Request’ button to confirm changes.
Change your user name and password and click ‘Save’ to confirm your new log-on information.
Items Out/ Renewals
This page displays all items checked out on your library card and the number of renewals available. You can renew an item by checking the box to the right of the item title and then clicking ‘Renew Selected Items’ at the bottom. You will not be able to renew an item if another patron has a hold on the item or you have exceeded the maximum number of renewals.
Fines and Fees
Items which have not been returned will be shown as overdue on the ‘Items Out’ page, but will have no fines assessed. If you wish to see the estimated fines on overdue items, click the box for Estimate Fines. Actual fines will be assessed upon return of the item.
You may place a hold, cancel a hold or suspend a hold for a period of time. Suspensions are useful when you wish to maintain your place in line for held items, but delay delivery until it is convenient for you.
When placing a hold, remember to select Kemmerer Library as your pick-up library.
The status of your ‘held’ items items will be displayed as: On Waiting List, En Route, or Ready for Pick-Up. The Library will contact you when items are ready for pick up using the contact information you have listed in your MAIN Account. Items ready for pick-up are held for seven (7) days at the Library. If not collected, they are returned to the lending library.
This feature can only be activated by the Library staff. Once activated, it allows you to see your borrowing history over the prior five (5) years.
