Kemmerer Library is committed to strengthening ties to Harding Township’s community organizations.

Local non-profit groups are welcome to add links to their websites on the “Community Links” page. Email us at desk@hardinglibrary.org with a subject heading “Community Organization Link”. Please include a brief description and the URL of the website to be linked.

Harding Township Recreation Association
Keeping sports fun for children in kindergarten through middle school: T-ball, lacrosse, soccer, field hockey, basketball, tennis and skiing. Residents can reserve court time on the Tennis Courts adjacent to Town Hall at 16 Blue Mill Road.

Harding Land Trust
A nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the farmland, woodlands and natural areas that give Harding its distinctive quality of life. Harding Land Trust works to safeguard our natural resources and preserve the rural character of our community for current and future generations.

Harding Civic Association
An independent nonpartisan citizen’s group whose mission is to create an informed and engaged citizenry to foster patriotism. The Civic Association delivers the monthly “Thumbnail” of news and events to all residents of Harding Township. It also sponsors the Memorial Day Parade, Meet the Mayor night, and Meet the Candidates forum annually.

Harding Township School
The public school for Harding Township pre-kindergarten through 8th grade students.

New Vernon Volunteer Fire Department & First Aid Squad

An all-volunteer Fire and First Aid organization serving Harding Township residents and those passing through. NVVFD is completely dependent on private funding to support the emergency care it provides. NVVFD sponsors two major fundraisers annually: Steak & Lobster in June and the Country Auction on the last Saturday of September.
