Our History

The Friends of Kemmerer Library group was formed in to provide financial support to the Library by sponsoring fund raising events.

We incorporated in as a 501(c)(3) organization. All donations and profits from our events are tax exempt to the donors.

We work in concert with the Library Trustees to ensure a fiscally sound Library and to support the Operating Expenses of the Library. To date, we have raised over $300,000 through our numerous projects, community celebrations and events.

Art in Bloom has expanded to be the celebrated fundraiser that it is today, drawing artists from far and wide to an event enjoyed by the entire community.

Our Mission

The mission of Friends of Kemmerer Library is to support the Library through fundraising and outreach to the community.

Be a Friend

We are always looking for volunteers and warmly welcome new friends to our group. There are many ways to help: Art in Bloom, our biennial art show and fundraiser; cultural events such as our recent Whisky and Burns Night; Music on the Lawn; and much more. We have a lot of fun!
