Do you love to read the latest books? Do you enjoy recommending books to your family and friends? The Library will be starting a Book Review Group, where patrons can read Advance Reading Copies of upcoming titles and let us know what they think of them.  If you are interested, email
Adult Book Group
Join our lively book group to discuss this month’s pick: “White Houses” by Amy Bloom, which deftly explores what might have been in this novel about the real romance between Eleanor Roosevelt and journalist Lorena Hickok. The book group will also discuss “Snow Flower and the Secret Fan” by Lisa See.

Meet Julie Maloney
author, artist, & writing workshop leader
Julie Maloney joins us to talk about her debut novel, “A Matter of Chance,” including her research in Germany and her many conversations with a Brooklyn undercover DEA agent. She will also discuss her experiences working in the arts as a former modern dancer and artistic director of her own modern dance company. Maloney has hosted international writing retreats for the past 15 years with Women Reading Aloud, her non-profit organization which supports and promotes women writers all over the world.
