This time, LoAnne joins us to discuss her new venture, the International Grief Council, a symposium of three women — all experts in grief counseling — dedicated to promoting the gift and healing power of grief.

All the Lovely Horses: Art Show
Friday, September 11, 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. This fall, the Library will be celebrating horses in all their glory – Harding is, after all, horse country! We kick off with the opening of a great show featuring works by artists, Lin Salerno (acrylics) and Sandra Graham (photography), whose works reflect a deep passion and respect for horses.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the artworks will be donated to the Library.
Kemmerer Kids Klub
Mondays, 3:30 – 5:00 p.m. Come in and chill out at the Library. Our Children’s Librarian, Mrs. Butler, is ready to help with homework, suggest great books, and show a fun craft to take home. For children ages 7 and up. Please register in advance so we have adequate supplies.
Story Time for Toddlers to Resume on September 10th
Thursdays at 10:15 a.m. We look forward to welcoming story lady, Wendy Marchev, back from summer vacation. Toddlers and their caregivers or parents are invited to come for songs, exercise, games, stories, crafts, and a snack. No registration necessary.

Expert appraisers from the Rago Art and Auction Center (of PBS’s Antiques Roadshow fame) are looking for a wide variety of art, antiques, jewelry and other items to place at auction. Pre-School Enrichment starting September 28th
We are pleased to offer a brand-new pilot program for 4-year olds. Participants will meet twice a week, Mondays and Wednesdays, 10:30 a.m.-12 noon. Professional educators will lead supervised, age-appropriate socialization activities, music and movement, early literacy, structured play. There will also be time for a brown bag lunch before the end of each session. $450 for 12 weeks. Space is limited, so please register early.
Cyber Safety for Children
Wednesday, September 30, 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. Social media and technology expert, Lara Rouillard, will discuss steps children and their parents can take to ensure privacy and safety online in an environment of hackers, identity thieves, and cyber bullies. Outdoor Game Afternoon for Families
