Expect to bring home lots of great ideas for fabulous planters! For information on the Garden Guru, please visit www.thegardenguru.com
We ask a $15 donation per person for the program. Plants will be available for sale after the lecture.

Learn to Sew for Kids
There’s no better feeling than using or wearing something that you have made yourself! In March of this year, the Library began offering workshops on sewing – with a sewing machine – for children ages 7 and up. Nine young ladies showed up for our first project, a drawstring gym bag, and two more great sewing tasks are in the works for May: A gathered skirt and a sleep-over pillow – just in time for summer camp. Participants will learn cutting, stitching, and sewing machine basics.
Registration is a must for these workshops as we need to know how much fabric to purchase. We ask a $5 materials fee for each session.
Monday, May 4, 3:30 p.m.
Monday, May 18, 3:30 p.m.
