If you like to read a good book and like to talk about it, why not join Mrs. Butler and our new winter book club? We’ll read some great books, talk about them, and post reviews on the Library website.
Author Visit: Elena Gorokhova
A conversation with the author of Russian Tattoo
Ms. Gorokhova will discuss her critically acclaimed memoir — now out in paperback — of her experiences as a young Russian immigrant to the United States in the 1980s. Filled with lively observations on the contrast between American and Russian cultures, the book beautifully captures the initial bewilderment and growing confidence of the author as she crafts her new life.

Local photographer and world travelers, Jane Kendall and David Dietz, will share spectacular photos and stories from their many journeys north of the Arctic Circle. Don’t miss this wonderful opportunity to learn about a nature and culture undergoing great changes. Refreshments will be served. Registration requested, please.

iPad/iPhone Workshop with Lara Rouillard
Tech guru, Lara Rouillard, will discuss tips and tricks for maintaining your device, demonstrate new apps and steps to keep it up to date. Think of this session as “Spring Clean-Up for Your iPad”.

5th Grade Service Program
Operation Books is off to a great start!
Start the New Year by doing something good. The Library is raising funds and collecting gently used books for the Boys and Girls Club of Paterson and Passaic, an after-school program serving children in under-resourced communities. If you are interested in being part of this project, join Mrs. Butler for the first meeting on Registration required, please.
