Summer Family Movie Nights
Bring a sit-upon or blanket and join us for cozy family movie nights featuring two of this spring’s block-buster films. Popcorn, pizza, and waters will be available to order in advance. Registration required, please.

Just Write That College Essay!
Following up on last year’s successful college writing program for high school juniors, we’re pleased to welcome writing coach, Mike Dundas, back for a timely workshop intended to help rising seniors get started on the college essay before school starts! With the Common App topics as a starting point Mr. Dundas will help participants brainstorm essay ideas, craft a first draft, and work towards the final document. Refreshments will be served. Registration required, please.
Monday Morning Yoga – Summer Break
Monday Morning Yoga is taking a break for the summer. Watch for an announcement about Yoga returning in the fall.
Summer Reading at Kemmerer Library
Kemmerer Library is sponsoring an exciting Summer Reading program designed to encourage your child to read and savor the joy of reading for pleasure. The kick-off party took place on June 13, but children can register anytime during June, July, and August. Throughout the summer months, we will offer activities, incentives, prizes, programs, and lots of great books to help the process along.

Kemmerer Kids’ Klub
Come in and cool down with a story, a fun craft, and a game with the Children’s Librarian. Grades K-2.

Summer Reading Homework
Don’t wait until Labor Day to do your school summer homework! We are here to help with templates, suggested reading lists, books and will help you be on top of the work. All ages welcome.

Superhero Days
This is Superhero Summer, so we’re celebrating our local heroes with occasional visits by police officers , firefighters, veterinarians, and more. Come give them a hero’s salute. Please see our calendar for dates. Grades K and up.

Special Events

All About Owls
Our heroes from the Raptor Trust will share stories about their work saving owls — with a visit by a real, live barn owl! Grades 1 and up.

A Visit With Wolves
Two gorgeous wolfdogs from Howling Woods Farm will join us for the Summer Reading closing party. All ages welcome.
