Nordic Spirit Art Show
Grand Opening Reception
In cooperation with Nordic Artwork we are pleased to present paintings by three Danish artists of world renown, Christina Kjelsmark, Hanne Stoevring, and Janusz Tyrpak, each representing a distinct Nordic sensibility. The grand opening reception will feature a talk by Hanne Støvring on Nordic art traditions. In celebration of the opening and the holiday season, traditional holiday treats from Scandinavia, including “æbleskiver”, “smaakager”, and gløgg, mulled wine, will be served.
The reception is free and open to the public.
The artwork will be displayed and be for sale at the Library through February 20, 2015. 5% of all proceeds will be donated to the Library.
